@colormake field trip to the Fritz Haeg “domestic integrities” piece on opening day. (at Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum)
After shooting this roll of film I wasn’t feeling nearly as excited to see the results as usual. Luckily due to the camera being broken the images embodied exactly how I feel about Pittsburgh. Cold, dirty, gritty, and lonely. The camera was the perfect fit for this trip and produced the best results I could have hoped for.

Camping in Linville Gorge, NC this time of year is beautiful. The leaves have fallen to the ground and the soft silence of winter has begun to take over.
Some of the best trips start out with quitting your job and taking an impromptu flight down to Florida to meet up with your best friend.
Things went a little like this after the flight. Hop a train or two. Get stuck in Jacksonville. Hitchhike a 14 hour ride to Houston with a man that fixes jumbo jets for a living. Ride your bikes half way to Austin Tx. Get another ride. All to place second in a bike polo tourney that is Halloween themed, see some more best friends, and have to hitch a ride all the way back north to Buffalo. It only took three rides to make it all the way back home. Austin to Lexington to Pittsburgh to Buffalo.
